During its 28th Apex Council Meeting, the BCCI formed a committee to formulate comprehensive guidelines aimed at preventing Bengaluru-like stampedes in the future. The committee will comprise Devajit Saikia, Prabhtej Singh Bhatia and Rajeev Shukla. Saikia will be the Chairperson of the committee. Eleven people died in the stampede during RCB's victory celebrations outside Chinnaswamy Stadium.
