Being overweight not always linked to higher death risk: Study

Danish researchers found that being overweight or moderately obese does not necessarily increase risk of death compared to those at the upper end of healthy BMI range, suggesting people can be "fat but fit". Also, individuals in the underweight category were almost three times more likely to have died than individuals with a BMI towards top of healthy weight range.
