Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) grants a contract valued at ₹1,888 crore to Integral Coach Factory (ICF). The contract offers the supply of LHB (Linke-Hofmann-Busch) passenger coaches. The contract includes the combination of day and sleeper variants and is part of Indian Railways' initiative aimed at replacing outdated loco-hauled coaches with modern, safer, and more efficient LHB coaches.
