West Bengal BJP workers staged a protest against alleged gang-rape of a medical student in Durgapur and CM Mamata Banerjee's remark advising women not to go out late at night. As part of their campaign, 'Operation Lal Mirch', they distributed packets of red chilli powder to women for self-defence, saying it was meant to help them ensure their own safety.
