To address the alarming rise in drug abuse and substance use disorders, West Bengal Govt had collaborated with National Institute of Social Defence, to carry out six detailed capacity building programs throughout West Bengal in April. The campaign against drug abuse, was aimed at reinforcing response mechanisms at the grassroots and encouraging preventive efforts led by communities.
