The police in Bengaluru arrested a 29-year-old, Pushpalatha, house help after a CCTV footage showed her slamming her employer's pet dog to death inside an apartment lift. Pushpalatha was hired to take care of her employer's pets and received a monthly salary of ₹23,000, along with accommodation in the same apartment. Pushpalatha lied that the pet died in road accident.
