For safety and infrastructure enhancements on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway, the Central government has approved a fund of ₹711.72 crore. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will take care of these upgrades over the next two years. The project will highlight the accident-prone stretches and add service roads, shelters, and ramps for pedestrian and road safety.
