A couple of months after the infamous stampede in Bengaluru during RCB's maiden IPL title celebration, the Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has given a green signal to INR 1,650 crore mega sports complex in Surya City, Bommasandra. It will feature a cricket stadium with a seating capacity of 80,000 spectators, to become the second-largest cricket stadium in India.
