Dr Abhineet Gupta from Bhopal registered a case with the Mumbai Police after being scammed out of ₹10 lakh with promise of a "backdoor entry" into reality TV show 'Bigg Boss'. According to the authorities, he was conned by a man named Karan Singh, who claimed to be an event director with deep connections in entertainment industry.
