While addressing the 'Samudra se Samriddhi' event in Gujarat's Bhavnagar, PM Narendra Modi announced that all large ships will now be given the status of infrastructure. "Now, shipbuilding enterprises will be able to enjoy the financing benefits available to the infrastructure sector. They will now find it easier to secure bank loans at reduced interest rates," he said.
