Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced a ₹1,000 monthly allowance for graduates aged 20 to 25 who are neither employed nor self-employed. This allowance will be provided for up to two years. CM Kumar said the government has been prioritising employment for youth and aims to make the youngsters self-reliant.
