Election Commission responded to Opposition's criticism over Bihar's electoral rolls and alleged vote theft, saying errors should have been raised during "Claims and Objections period". It added, "Had these issues been raised at right time through right channels, it would've enabled…correction." The poll body said this scrutiny "will help SDMS/EROS remove errors and purify the Electoral Rolls".
