Psephologist and JNU alumnus Shashi Shankar Singh said Bihar's record 64.66% voter turnout isn't extraordinary, calling it part of a steady rise since 2005. He attributed the increase to the timing of polls during Chhath Puja and the wedding season, when many migrant workers stayed back to cast their votes.
