BJP's IT head Amit Malviya responded to allegations regarding the Election Commission accepting the Residence Certificate as a valid document for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), the same certificate that has reportedly been issued to a dog in Bihar. "The purpose of the SIR process is to identify such infiltrators and those who have obtained fake certificates," he said.
