The Centre is likely to table a new bill on direct tax law in the upcoming Budget session of the Parliament, ET reported. The new bill will likely streamline income tax system, make compliance easier, eliminate duplicate procedures and make it more user-friendly. The committee drafting the bill is deciding if it'll be drafted in two or three parts.
