Aditya Birla Group's paints unit, Birla Opus, has filed an antitrust case against Asian Paints for allegedly abusing its market position, reports stated. Competition Commission of India (CCI) has been reviewing the "confidential" complaint. Asian Paints reportedly holds 52% of India's paint market share, while Birla Opus, which launched in 2024, has garnered nearly 7% market share by March 2025.
