Bitcoin, which rose above $100,000 in value on Thursday for the first time, has more than doubled from this year's low of $38,505 it hit on January 23. Bitcoin is up about 45% in the four weeks since Donald Trump's victory in the US Presidential Elections. With Bitcoin hitting $100,000, its gains for the year stand at over 140%.
