Bitcoin, considered to be the world's largest cryptocurrency, crossed the $109,000 mark for the first time ever on Monday. This comes ahead of the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump, who is a proponent of cryptocurrency and has himself launched meme coin $TRUMP. Bitcoin rose over 8% intraday from yesterday's closing price of $101,331.57 to hit a high of $109,588.
