Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Corporator Amaresh Jena has been arrested from Odisha's Balasore for allegedly raping a teenaged girl since September 2023, police said. The 19-year-old complainant alleged Jena raped her after promising to marry her and divorce his wife. She also alleged she got pregnant in 2024 and Jena forced her to undergo an abortion.
