The BJP on Sunday announced three candidates, including its Jammu and Kashmir unit chief Sat Pal Sharma, for the elections to four Rajya Sabha seats in the Union Territory. The other two candidates are Ghulam Mohammed Mir and Rakesh Mahajan. Notably, these are the first Rajya Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370.
