BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra criticised Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for accusing PM Narendra Modi of imposing an "undeclared emergency" and calling the observance of Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas a "drama". "When you talk about the BJP's history, it's fine. But when we turn the pages of your family's (Gandhi's) politics and ambition, then you see a drama in it," he said.
