After the demolition of Jangpura's Madrasi Camp, AAP leader Somnath Bharti alleged that the Delhi government sent police to stop him from attending a slum awareness event in Begumpur. "BJP had promised to give houses where slums are...but they're doing the exact opposite of what was promised," he said. "They're throwing out all the poor people," he added.
