Former Haridwar MLA Suresh Rathore has been suspended by BJP for six years after a video showed him introducing actress Urmila Sanawar as his second wife, despite being married to his first wife. State BJP incharge Manveer Singh Chauhan confirmed Rathore's suspension, calling his conduct "indecent". Rathore was accused of violating Uttarakhand UCC, which bans polygamy.
