A video showed BJP MLA from UP's Banda, Prakash Dwivedi, threatening Baberu SDM on call for the demolition of a home. "Ek baar aagrah karenge...agar manmani karenge, to aake thik kar denge (I’ll request you once...but if you act arbitrarily, I’ll come and set you straight)," Dwivedi was heard saying to SDM. He claimed home was demolished without prior notice.
