Several BJP MLAs-led by Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, marched to the state's police headquarters in Kolkata to meet the DGP over violence in South 24 Parganas. The violence happened allegedly after a temple was vandalised when a person was stopped from encroaching on the temple land and setting up a shop. MLAs were seen shouting slogans against TMC government.
