Protesters demanding Ladakh statehood clashed with police in Leh on Wednesday, pelting stones at officials and burning a police vehicle. Protesters stormed BJP office in Leh and set it ablaze, with visuals surfacing online. This came after two of the 15 people on hunger strike since September 10 were hospitalised. Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has also been on hunger strike.
