President Droupadi Murmu has appointed BJP leader and former J&K Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta as the new Lieutenant-Governor of Ladakh. Chandrababu Naidu-headed TDP's Ashok Gajapathi Raju has been appointed the Governor of Goa while Professor Ashim Ghosh is the new Governor of Haryana. Retired Brigadier BD Mishra's resignation as Ladakh's L-G was accepted by the President.
