After TMC-led West Bengal government presented a new OBC list, BJP's Amit Malviya shared the state's 2010 OBC list with 66 classes, including 11 Muslim classes and 55 non-Muslim. Sharing new list, he said, "New Additions (2025): Part 1: 51 new classes- 46 Muslim (90%), Part 2: 25 new classes- 21 Muslim (84%). If this isn't religion-based appeasement, what is?"
