Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), youth wing of BJP, took to streets of Kolkata and Howrah to protest against alleged police excesses during a march to West Bengal secretariat, Nabanna on Saturday. The protest, which also marked one-year anniversary of rape-murder of a trainee doctor at state-run RG Kar hospital, turned ugly, resulting in injuries to protestors and police alike.
