Farmers from South West Garo Hills, Meghalaya, achieved a milestone by shipping 10 metric tons of locally grown black pepper to Mumbai. Collected by Kerupara and Dingampara IVCS under M-LAMP and MBMA support, the shipment was sent to Sundardas Ratansey Spice Pvt Ltd. The pepper will now be used by Everest Masala, boosting farmer incomes and national visibility.
