Filmmaker Kunal Kohli, known for 'Hum Tum', criticised the practice of 'block booking', which means that makers buy tickets for their own films to show bigger collections. "What's this rubbish?...We make the film, we release the film and then we only buy tickets," he said. Kunal said the only reason to do block bookings is to "pamper" the "star's ego".
