Johns Hopkins University researchers have developed a blood test that can detect cancer three years before symptoms appear. The test is known as multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test. “Detecting cancers years before their clinical diagnosis could help provide management with a more favorable outcome,” said Nickolas Papadopoulos, one of the scientists who developed the test.
