BMC has approved a fare hike in BEST bus services, with the minimum fare being doubled. Under the revised fare structure, non-AC buses' minimum fare will rise from ₹5 to ₹10, while for AC buses, it will rise from ₹6 to ₹12. However, the approval for the price hike from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Transport Authority (MMRTA) is still pending.
