The BMC has deployed 800 staff to clean Mumbai's Azad Maidan amid the Maratha quota protest led by Manoj Jarange Patil, now in its third day. Over 300 free toilets, 25 water tankers, medical aid rooms, ambulances, and hospital support have been arranged. One protestor died of cardiac arrest, while many sought treatment for minor ailments.
