The bodies of a 40-year-old government official Ramchandra Pardhi and 20-year-old student Rupali Khutan were recovered from a 1200-foot valley in Junnar, Pune. A suicide note found at the scene revealed Pardhi's distress over alleged harassment and defamation by his wife and her family. The note included serious accusations and an apology to his family.
