The body of a 40-year-old resident of Dhilwan in Punjab's Kapurthala district was found floating in the swollen Beas River, police said. He had been missing since Thursday, prompting a search by his family. The man, prima facie, went near the river for fishing, slipped, and got swept away. The body was sent for post-mortem, Bholath DSP Karnail Singh said.
