Police in Bhiwandi in Maharashtra's Thane discovered a seven-year-old girl’s body stuffed in a gunny sack near her neighbour’s locked home. The accused allegedly raped and strangled the child before fleeing. The girl’s parents found the body after searching for her when she didn’t return from stepping outside.
