The Israeli military has said that they have recovered the body of Hamas chief Mohammed Sinwar, who is the brother of October 2023 attack mastermind Yahya Sinwar, from an underground tunnel beneath a hospital in Gaza. Brigadier General Effie Defrin said that while Mohammed's death was announced last month, now they have DNA to prove it is him.
