A National level para powerlifting champion, Rohit Dhankher, was beaten to death in Haryana’s Bhiwani after he reportedly objected to the harassment of girls at a wedding function. The accused allegedly beat Rohit until he was unconscious. He was initially taken to a private hospital, which then referred him to PGIMS Rohtak, where he later passed away from his injuries.
