During the Paris Air Show, Boeing announced that it is in preliminary talks about possibly reopening the assembly line to produce more C-17 Globemaster III cargo jet over a decade after its final aircraft came off line. The need of growing demand world-wide, aging fleets and lack of a direct heir has led to renewed interest.
