The shares of American aircraft maker Boeing tanked more than 7% in pre-market trading on Thursday in the US after a London-bound Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner plane operated by Air India crashed minutes after takeoff from Gujarat's Ahmedabad, with 242 people on board. As of 3:00 pm IST, Boeing was trading 7.70% lower at $197.53.
