The Bombay High Court has ordered the BCCI to pay ₹538 crore to the now-defunct IPL franchise Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK), upholding a 2015 arbitral award. The franchise was terminated by the BCCI in 2011. KTK's operators had initiated arbitration proceedings in 2012, claiming the termination was wrongful. The court has granted BCCI six weeks to file an appeal.
