The Menendez brothers, Lyle and Erik, have been denied parole 35 years after they murdered their parents with shotguns in their Beverly Hills home in 1989. Erik was denied parole earlier, followed by Lyle. The brothers, who were 21 and 18 back then, have maintained they killed their parents in self-defence after being sexually abused by their father for years.
