Brazil's Supreme Court has issued a house arrest order for ex-President Jair Bolsonaro, who is standing trial for allegedly plotting a coup. He has been restricted from using phone during his arrest. Bolsonaro, whose impending trial has been termed as 'witch hunt' by US President Donald Trump, was accused of conspiring with his allies to overturn his 2022 electoral loss.
