The brother of a BSF constable who was killed in a Pakistani drone attack in J&K during Operation Sindoor has been appointed as an Assistant Sub-Inspector in Manipur Police. Constable Deepak Chingakham was severely injured during cross-border firing in the RS Pura area of Jammu on May 11 and he had died during treatment the following day. He was 25.
