Videos that have surfaced show people screaming as buildings were shaking after an 8.8-magnitude earthquake hit Russia's far eastern Kamchatka Peninsula, triggering a tsunami of up to 13 feet. According to TASS agency, cars swayed on the street and buildings shook noticeably. "Today's earthquake was serious and the strongest in decades of tremors," Kamchatka Governor Vladimir Solodov said.
