Twenty people died and 16 were critically injured when a bus travelling from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur caught fire on Tuesday. Initial investigations suggest short circuit in air-conditioning system triggered gas leak, causing fire. The private bus was recently modified from non-AC to AC. "The exit passage was very narrow...The bus didn't have a second door," local MLA Pratap Puri said.
