Businessman Sanjay Verma, who co-owned the 'New Wear Well' clothing showroom, was shot dead outside his showroom in Punjab's Abohar city on Monday. Eyewitnesses stated that Verma had stepped out of his showroom when three unidentified attackers arrived on a motorcycle and fired multiple shots at him. Verma was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
