After the Bahujan Vikas Aghadi (BVA) accused BJP leader Vinod Tawde of distributing ₹5 crore cash for votes in Maharashtra, Tawde denied claims saying it was BVA workers who entered hotel with cash. He said that the workers showed cash to media cameras to frame him. "EC personnel came, they checked my vehicle, they did not find anything," he said.
