A report by Nuvama Institutional Equities, citing S&P Global Commodity Insights, said natural gas will be the only fossil fuel to see a rise in the energy mix of the US, China and India by 2050. Despite rapid renewable energy capacity growth, fossil fuels will still dominate major economies, with gas acting as a key transition fuel toward net zero.
